Toni Breidinger was the only woman to race full-time in one of NASCAR’s three touring circuits last year, driving the No. 5 Toyota for Tricon Garage in the Craftsman Truck Series.

Breidinger will again compete in truck races in 2026, but on a team and with a reduced schedule. Announcements on Wednesday, Jan. 21 from Breidinger and Chevrolet Racing said she is joining the Rackley WAR team and will compete in eight races in the No. 27 Chevy truck.

Starting with the truck race at Daytona on Feb. 13, Breidinger will also run at Texas Motor Speedway, Dover, Nashville, North Wilkesboro, Indianapolis, New Hampshire and Talladega. She’ll continue to have support from sponsors such as Raising Canes, Celsius and Sunoco.

“I’m incredibly excited to join Rackley WAR and compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series again in 2026,” Breidinger said in a statement. “This schedule includes some of the biggest races on the calendar. I’m ready to get to work and make the most of every opportunity.”

The 26-year-old from California has driven in 29 truck series races over the past three years, including a full 25-race schedule last season. Her best result in a truck last season came at Rockingham where she finished 18th in the first NASCAR race held at the track in 12 years. In 2023, she had two top 20 finishes at Kansas and Nashville, coming in 15th and 17th, respectively

Before jumping into trucks, Breidinger also competed in the ARCA Menards Series, where she had 27 top 10 finishes across five seasons. In 2024, she finished fourth in standings in the ARCA series, making her the highest-performing woman driver in ARCA history until Isabella Robusto tied that mark last year.

“Toni is a unique talent. She brings visibility and professionalism everywhere she goes,” said Willie Allen, COO of Rackley WAR.

Breidinger is the first Arab-American woman to compete in NASCAR. She also has a modeling career and has appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, becoming the first active NASCAR driver to feature in it. She’s also been part of marketing campaigns from Coach, GAP and Victoria’s Secret.

Between Instagram, TikTok and X, Breidinger has about 5 million followers — or double the combined social media followings of the three most recent Cup Series champions: Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney and Kyle Larson.

This season will mark the first time since 2021 that she hasn’t competed in a Toyota car.

“I’m looking forward to starting this next chapter with the Team Chevy family,” Breidinger said. “Chevrolet’s passion for motorsports and commitment to performance is unrivaled. With their support of Rackley WAR’s growing program, I’m confident they are going to provide me with the resources to compete for wins.”

Rackley WAR is entering its sixth year of Craftsman Truck Series competition. Dawson Sutton drove the organization’s No. 26 Chevrolet full-time last season. Rackley WAR has one win in the truck series, secured by Matt DiBenedetto in 2022 at Talladega.
