Top Week 11 fantasy football sleepers at every position

Week 11 has been a roller-coaster so far and there has only been one game played.

The highs this week come from players returning from injury. Ricky Pearsall and Brock Purdy are officially back. Bucky Irving is practicing and trending up, although his status is still unknown. The most exciting news is that Joe Burrow is eyeing a Week 13 or Week 14 return, which is earlier than expected.

The lows this week come from more injury news. Travis Hunter and Garrett Wilson have landed on IR. Marvin Harrison Jr. is out this week and possibly longer, and J.K. Dobbins is a candidate for IR, as well.

All of this is a reminder that being able to find players to stream each week is vital to your fantasy team’s success.

*Streamers are players who are rostered in 50% or fewer of Yahoo! leagues.

Fantasy Football Week 11 Streamers

Quarterbacks

Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers

Part 2 of the Icy Hot Bowl is here, and while many were reluctant to start either of the “old men” in Part 1, that should not be the case this time.

The last time these two teams met, Rodgers threw for 249 yards and four touchdowns, good for 24.6 points.

The Bengals’ defense has shown no signs of slowing down opposing offenses. It has allowed the fourth-most points to quarterbacks this season, the second-most expected points per dropback, and it ranks last in passing DVOA. Fire up Rodgers with confidence.

Marcus Mariota, Washington Commanders

A second solid streamer this week is Marcus Mariota, who faces the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins have allowed the eighth-most points to quarterbacks this season and it would be worse if they had not faced Dillon Gabriel and Kirk Cousins.

Mariota is lacking firepower around him, but he can provide a fairly solid floor thanks to his running ability.

Running Backs

Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons

The last time the Falcons and Panthers played it was a shocking 30-0 rout in favor of the Panthers. This kept Allgeier off the field because Bijan Robinson was needed for his receiving work.

This time around, expect a different game script, which should keep Allgeier involved.

For a streaming option you often need just one touchdown for the pick to hit, and Allgeier has as good a chance as anyone to score. He has five goal line carries compared to Robinson’s two, and those two came all the way back in Week 1.

Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams

Another week, another double-digit carry game for Blake Corum. That is now three straight after Week 10.

It has not resulted in strong fantasy production yet, but it feels like only a matter of time before Corum breaks off a long run and finds the end zone.

Chasing volume when all else fails is a good motto to follow when you need a streamer.

Sean Tucker, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Over the last two weeks, Sean Tucker has only two fewer carries than Rachaad White. Tucker has also been more productive on the ground, taking 21 carries for 95 yards. White has 73 yards on 23 carries.

Tucker should be able to take advantage of a Bills defense that has allowed the sixth-most points to running backs and the fourth-most expected points per attempt.

Bucky Irving has been limited in practice all week, so make sure to monitor his health. If he returns, Tucker should not be used.

Wide Receivers

Michael Wilson, Arizona Cardinals

With the news that Marvin Harrison Jr. will miss this week, and possibly more, Wilson steps into the No. 1 WR role for the Cardinals. This becomes more enticing with Jacoby Brissett under center. He has finished as a QB1 in all four weeks he has started.

The matchup looks semi-tough with the 49ers allowing the 12th-most fantasy points to receivers. However, a closer look and they also rank fifth-worst in EPA and eighth-worst in passing DVOA, making this a viable streaming option.

Tez Johnson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Johnson is coming off a two-touchdown game, yet he is still not rostered in enough leagues. When given a larger role, due to other injuries, he has delivered, scoring in three of his last four games.

The Bills are a neutral matchup on paper, but they rank fourth-worst in DVOA against teams’ WR2s, which is the role Johnson will be in.

Cooper Kupp, Seattle Seahawks

If you believe in the revenge game narrative, this is about as good as it gets. Kupp faces the only other team he has played for, the Los Angeles Rams, for the first time.

If Seattle wants to stay competitive, it will need to lean on the passing game. The Rams currently have the best fantasy run defense in the league, which sets up well for Kupp to produce.

Tight Ends

Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns

Fannin is dealing with a hamstring injury and was limited in practice Thursday. If he plays, he remains a strong streaming option thanks to the target volume he has seen all season.

Cleveland is a heavy underdog in this game, so his target volume should continue.

Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans

Schultz has been fantastic in three of the last four weeks, scoring double-digit fantasy points. In those three games, he had 10, 8, and 11 targets. The last two came with Davis Mills, who will start again in Week 12 since C.J. Stroud is not fully recovered from his concussion.

Schultz’s ceiling is somewhat limited this week against the Titans, who allow the ninth-fewest points to tight ends. Still, the volume he is seeing with Mills makes him hard to ignore.

Defense

Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons are likely motivated to avenge their embarrassing 30-0 loss to the Panthers in Week 3.

Despite losing their last two games, Atlanta’s defense scored 10 fantasy points in each. This is thanks to recording 13 total sacks in those contests. These were against quality opponents, too, in the Patriots and Colts.

The Panthers are not nearly as quality of an opponent. They are allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to their opponents. They have not scored more than 10 points in two of their last four games, and in the other two, they failed to score more than 16.
