Milwaukee Brewers rookie pitcher Jacob Misiorowski has become the latest player tabbed as a replacement for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game.

Misiorowski will join the National League All-Star team after just 25.2 innings pitched over five games. He replaces Chicago Cubs pitcher Matthew Boyd.

It’s the fewest career games ever played by someone named to the All-Star Game. Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes had set a new mark just last season with 11 games played in the first half of 2024. But Misiorowski shatters that.

Misiorowski is 4-1 this season, striking out 33 and allowing eight earned runs.

Fewest career games played before first MLB All-Star nod

5 – Jacob Misiorowski (2025)
11 – Paul Skenes (2024)
13 – Mark Fidrych (1976)
13 – Hideo Nomo (1995)
15 – Dontrelle Willis (2003)
